HeartCode BLS (Healthcare Provider)

The American Heart Association (AHA) offers a blended learning curriculum called HeartCode BLS that blends online instruction with hands-on skill development. Healthcare workers who need to refresh or acquire Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques are the target audience for this training. Important subjects covered in the online part include how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and how to help adults, kids, and babies who are choking. Participants must show off their abilities in a practical session supervised by a trained instructor following the completion of the online component. HeartCode BLS prepares participants for real-life situations by administering high-quality CPR in accordance with the most recent AHA standards.
