Meet Anita Stokes, MSN, MHA, RN, NPD-BC, CM/DN

Anita Stokes is your go-to Nursing Education Specialist, bringing over 25 years of rich and diverse healthcare experience to the table. Her journey in healthcare began as a Nursing Assistant, evolving through roles as a Patient Care Technician, Nurse Extern, and ultimately becoming a Registered Nurse. Anita’s clinical expertise spans from working in Shock Trauma Level 1 to various acute care environments, and she’s also served as a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) nurse.

Her management experience includes long-term care, assisted living, home health, and home infusion services, as well as case management and nurse consultation. With her extensive background and education, Anita excels in nursing practices, individualized patient care, family engagement, professional networking, and staff development—essential skills for any effective nurse leader.

What truly sets Anita apart is her passion for delivering personalized care to clients and families, ensuring they receive the highest quality of treatment. Her dedication to excellence in patient care and commitment to professional development make her an invaluable asset to any healthcare team.
